Overview

Q Bistro SS15 stands out as a charming Indian Muslim eatery nestled in the vibrant locale of Subang Jaya, Selangor. It embraces the rich culinary heritage of Indian Muslim cuisine while offering a modern and comfortable dining experience that appeals to families, friends, and couples alike. The restaurant’s strategic location along Jalan SS 15/4c makes it easily accessible to both locals and visitors craving authentic flavors in a relaxed setting.

The ambiance is thoughtfully divided into two sections: a cozy air-conditioned area and a covered open-air space. This layout caters to diverse preferences, providing a welcoming atmosphere that is both warm and clean. The soft lighting and attentive service create an inviting environment, making it an ideal spot for casual meals or small gatherings. Families appreciate the availability of baby chairs, highlighting the restaurant’s family-friendly approach.

Q Bistro SS15’s menu is a celebration of classic Indian Muslim dishes, with highlights that capture the essence of the cuisine. Signature items like the Roti Boom and Masala Thosai showcase expertly crafted breads and pancakes that balance crisp textures with flavorful spices. The Nasi Briyani range—featuring chicken, mutton, and beef rendang—delivers aromatic rice dishes rich with tradition and robust spices, each accompanied by complementary sides such as papadom and fresh vegetables.

Beyond these iconic mains, the bistro offers a varied spread that includes Poori, Garlic Naan, Rojak Pasembor, and Dimsum, which add an interesting fusion element to the traditional fare. For those leaning towards lighter or vegetarian options, dishes like Kuey Teow Goreng Vegetarian and Bihun Goreng provide balanced, flavorful choices. The thoughtful beverage selection, including the less sweet Teh Tarik Kurang Manis, complements the bold flavors on the plate without overpowering them.

Customers often praise the fresh and flavorful quality of the food along with the reasonable pricing, which makes Q Bistro SS15 accessible without compromising on taste. Although some, like avid ghee dosa lovers, may find certain dishes less exceptional compared to other branches, overall, the menu delivers consistency and variety. The lack of sports channels and shisha may not appeal to every patron, yet the clean, comfortable, and well-staffed environment compensates well.

Targeting a broad demographic—from working professionals seeking a comforting meal to families wanting a fuss-free dining experience—Q Bistro SS15 successfully marries traditional Indian Muslim culinary delights with a contemporary bistro vibe. Its diverse menu, amiable service, and thoughtfully designed space make it a noteworthy destination in the busy food scene of SS15.

Love the service and the atmosphere in this branch. My first time trying this branch of QBistro after moving over 6 months ago. We love it. And they have baby chair too. And the place is full with families normally as i guess the atmosphere is very good.

This mamak is honestly our favorite amongst the other mamak options at ss15. It's the only one that has an air-conditioned space, there are a lot of options for dine in either in air conditioned area or outside, the atmosphere is warm lighting and cozy, clean, and has the appropriate amount of staff to tend to our needs and orders. The food is good and reasonably priced. It's overall a comfortable dine-in atmosphere. Cons: (Not a con for us, but likely for others) - I believe they don't have sport channels on TV for display (At least none in air-conditioned area, not sure about open air area). Pros/cons: - The open air seating area is roof covered. - No shisha availability. Pros: - Clean, comfortable, cozy, has a variety of menu options. - Affordable and delicious food. - Card and QR payment options are available.

Been coming here many times, but didn't eat so many varieties. I am a big fan of ghee dosa. But this branch has poor ghee dosa in comparison to Ampang and Melawati. Dry and too thin, came late to my table so it was not hot. Boiled eggs and coffee c are good and consistent with the rest of the branches.

good outlet of good chain. nice selection of proteins, but somewhat short on veggies. ayam bawang is particularly good. they're piled high in aromatic pile, high as elephant's eye, at tstart of shift. ditto house special ayam q, if you like less messy dry-rub style. watch what you pile on, lest you suffer sticker shock. chicken is safest option, sotong is dangerous. prices are displayed on buffet line, so you only have yourself to blame if you get burnt. can't go wrong with any of rotis on offer. beverages are also good here courtesy fresh milk on tap. good place to shack up for remote work when quiet.
